摘要:Millimetre-wave (mmWave) communication has recently attracted great interests as the next generation of high-data wireless link. The circular polarized(CP) antennas can offer several benefits in this application, such as good polarization match over a long distance link, multipath rejection and polarization diversity and duplex.  
       This paper introduces a family of wideband mmWave CP antennas based on waveguide structures. Two types of designs, i.e. antipodal linearly tapered slot antenna (ALTSA) and septum antenna can produce around 40% bandwidth for both axial ratio (AR) < 3 dB and S11 < −15 dB in W-band. When combined with Substrate-Integrated Waveguide(SIW), the ALTSA array can generate a high gain while the septum antenna array can be employed in the multi-beam application.  Another type of septum antenna is designed to achieve dual circular polarization with 21% bandwidth for AR < 1.9dB in W-band.
