徐曉莉于2004年底獲新加坡政府全額獎學金赴新加坡求學,于2009年獲新加坡南洋理工大學一等榮譽學士學位,同時獲得了新加坡國防科研局的全額獎學金在南洋理工大學攻讀博士學位,于2015年獲得博士學位。從2015年至2018年初,徐博士在南洋理工大學卓越信息通信中心從事博士後研究。主要研究領域為信息論,網絡編碼的關鍵理論及應用、車聯網通信以及無線自組網絡通信。徐博士作為主要完成人,參與了由新加坡經濟發展局及新加坡國防科研局資助的多個科研項目,包括網絡編碼和信道編碼在軍事通信方面的應用、無線自組網絡的平台設計和實現、以及車載網絡中專用短程通信(DSRC)的優化。從20186月至20197月,徐博士在澳大利亞悉尼大學從事博士後研究,徐博士在澳大利亞悉尼大學從事博士後研究,主要研究領域為5G超可靠低時延通信,以及工業物聯網等。圍繞這些研究工作,已在國際期刊及會議上發表/錄用學術論文28篇、書章節一篇,其中SCI期刊論文12篇(一作9篇)。徐博士獲得了2015IEEE International Conference on Information, Communications and Signal ProcessingICICS)最佳論文獎。
